WOODBURN - At its annual meeting held recently at Tualatin Country Club, OGA directors representing more than 300 member clubs formally elected Lynn M. Myrick of Grants Pass as president of the Oregon Golf Association.

The Oregon Golf Association is licensed by the United States Golf Association as a regional governing body for Oregon and S.W. Washington with responsibilities including the rating and measuring of all golf courses as well as administering and overseeing the USGA Handicap System. Myrick will preside over the 15 member OGA executive committee and its subsidiary organizations including OGA Properties, Inc., OGA Golf Course, Inc. and Oregon Junior Golf Fund, Inc.
