EUGENE — Amber Williams scored 18 points and Cal State Bakersfield overcame a 16-point deficit in the second half to defeat Oregon 82-78 in the Oregon Invitational on Saturday.

Britney McGee added 16 points, Kristine Herman scored 15 and Tamiko Davis recorded 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Roadrunners (6-0).

Amanda Johnson had a season-high 29 points and 14 rebounds for the Ducks (4-1), and Nia Jackson added 23 points.

Trailing 56-42 with 12:21 to play, the Roadrunners outscored the Ducks 40-22 the rest of the way, getting four 3-pointers — including three from Herman — two three-point plays and 13 points off free throws.

Oregon, after making 8-of-12 shots to open the second half, made just 6-of-24 during the Roadrunners? comeback.
