Tiah DeGrofft - President
Tiah is the glue that keeps the Hall of Fame together and operating smoothly. The DeGrofft family has a long history of volunteering for both Round-Up and Happy Canyon. Father Duane was a Round-Up, Happy Canyon and Hall of Fame Director.
Greg Duchek- Vice- President and Building
Greg handles all building maintenance both internally and externally. He was born and raised in Pendleton, where he works for Duchek Construction. Greg has been involved for over 25 years and is a 2010 Happy Canyon Appreciation Honoree. Greg is serving his fifth year on the Hall of Fame Board.
Robert Pahl -Treasurer
Robert is tasked with keeping all financial records for the Hall of Fame. He was born in Pendleton, and graduated from Helix High School. He has been involved in various capacities at Happy Canyon since 1984. Robert is currently serving his sixth year on the Hall of Fame Board.
Steve Campbell- Website and Grants
In his first year on the board, Steve oversees the website for the Hall of Fame and is in charge of all agreements involving the Hall of Fame building, including coordinating all grants. He was raised in Condon and grew up working on the family cattle ranch. After living 20 years “west of the mountains” Steve, his wife Martha and their three children moved to Pendleton in 2002 where he is Vice President of Business Banking for US Bank.
Marlene Currin - Exhibits
Marlene is in charge of all the displays and exhibits in the Hall of Fame. She was born and raised in Heppner, then moved to Portland in 1964 and attend the Northwestern School of Business and Portland State College. Marlene is pleased to be part of her family’s tradition by serving on the Hall of Fame Board. Marlene is serving her second year on the Board of Directors.
Cydney Corey Curtis- Publicity and Fundraisers
Cydney coordinates all publicity for the Hall of Fame, both writing releases and assisting the press with any needs they have. This is her first year on the board. Cydney has been very involved in Pendleton Round-Up and Happy Canyon. She is a former Round-Up Queen (2004) and Princess (2003). Her husband Kipp volunteers for both organizations and her daughter was in the emigrant scene of Happy Canyon when she was two days old last year.
June Mohrland – Secretary and Inductee Banquet
June is charged with chairing the Annual Induction Banquet held Sunday of Round-Up week. She also handles all of the secretarial duties for the Hall of Fame. June was born in Pendleton and graduated from high school in Helix in 1969. She has been involved as a Round-Up and Happy Canyon volunteer for Round-Up since the Mounted Band was resurrected in for the 75th Anniversary in 1985. June is serving her third year on the Hall of Fame Board.
Crystal Patton-Doherty- Membership and Circle of Champions
Crystal oversees the Circle of Champions program and is tasked with keeping the membership database up to date, recruiting new members, and sending out the membership newsletter. As a 30-year volunteer, Crystal has volunteered in many different capacities over the years; she has painted chutes in the Round-Up arena, sold chips in the Let ’er Buck Room, and more. Crystal is serving her first year on the board.
Jack Remillard- Inductees
Jack supervises the election of new inductees and assists with all matters involving the inductees from the annual meeting to the banquet. He also coordinates the parade and in-arena introductions. Jack worked for ODOT in Pendleton and Pendleton Fire and Ambulance Service, retiring as Assistant Chief/Fire Marshal in 2004. Jack received the Round-Up Association Volunteer Appreciation Award in 2011. Jack is serving his third year on the Board.
Corinne Swearingen- Volunteers
Corinne has the large task of finding volunteers and setting up the schedule for volunteers to host guests during Hall of Fame hours. Corinne was born in Walla Walla and raised in Pendleton. Corrine has volunteered for the Round-Up for 11 years in many capacities including working the souvenir booth and as a volunteer at the Hall of Fame. Corrine is serving her fifth year on the Hall of Fame Board.
Gary manages the security system and company for the Hall of Fame. Gary was raised in Burns. A graduate of Eastern Oregon University, Gary worked for the Pendleton Police Department and is a former Chief of Police. Gary was recognized for his volunteer work receiving the Main Street Cowboy Tenderfoot Award in 2009. He is serving his second year on the Hall of Fame Board.
Cedric Wildbill- Historian
Cedric keeps the history of the Hall of Fame accurate. Cedric was born and raised in Pendleton. Cedric’s family has a long history with the Pendleton Round-Up and Happy Canyon. Grandfather Phillip (Wildbill) Bill, Grandmother Eliza Bill, and great grandfather Willie Wocostie are all past Hall of Fame Inductees. He is serving his second year on the board.
Bill Quesenberry- Pendleton Round-Up President
Bill represents the Pendleton Round-Up Board at all of the Hall of Fame Board meetings. He updates the Hall of Fame Board on what is going on with the Round-Up and ensures that the best interests of the Round-Up are being followed at the Hall of Fame.
Jason Hill- Happy Canyon President
Jason represents the Happy Canyon Board at all of the Hall of Fame Board meetings. He updates the Hall of Fame Board on what is going on with the Happy Canyon and ensures that the best interests of Happy Canyon are being followed at the Hall of Fame.
